In the early 90's Alex Azary arranged 'Sound Factory' events ran a club called "XS" in Frankfurt from 1991 - 1994 together with Mark Spoon (Markus Löffel), and also worked for Logic records at this time.
"Aural Float is the bridge between what I've done before and what I'm doing now. In those days I did "XS" and ran Chill Out records for about 3 years. Through other contacts I met Gabriel (le Mar). He came to my DJ sets with his mini sound system and jammed live to the things I've played and this has developed over time and we said we should do all this together. I've made the 'base' sounds, and Gabriel jammed live onto them with vocal overdubs and so on.
After 3 years I had enough of "XS". I wanted to concentrate more on my own music which was very important for me at this time, and so Gabriel and I moved around and played everywhere we got invited, and this was nearly around the world. We did many things with Sven Väth, and he suggested to us to make our own label. In this way he was a kind of godfather for Elektrolux. At the same time Gabriel and I worked in the studio, we also did tracks with Pascal F.E.O.S. (who is also a part of Resistance D). So we founded Elektrolux where we released our Aural Float album."

Alex Azary founded and is one of the masterminds of Elektrolux Records, a label of an organisation called "General Electric Music - G.E.M.", run by Alex with Pascal F.E.O.S., Gabriel and Dariush Azary (Alex's brother). Other G.E.M.-labels are Hey Babe! (House), Planet Vision (4-to-the-floor hard dance) and PV (minimalistic hard stuff), the last two run by Pascal F.E.O.S.

Space Night, a project by Elektrolux, is a transmission of the German television station BR (Bavarian TV, outside of Germany, it can be seen via Astra Satellite) that runs late at night (or early in the morning, depending on your point of view :-), where space scenes accompanied by ambient music are played.
"In the last days of "XS" we put up a huge video screen at the Chill Out area when we played live. During that time I used the Space Night pictures, without the original sound, because at that time they played different music (Oldfield and such stuff). I noticed that these pictures combined with our music worked fine, so I picked up the phone and called them, and we came together and Gabriel and I made the soundtrack for the "Earth Views 4" series, while at the same time we also compiled the 2nd Space Night compilation CD. "Earth Views 5" was last year, also with a compilation CD (Space Night Volume 3), and in the middle of this year (1998) we'll finish the next volume."

Flowmotion, another Elektrolux project, is a new nightly tv chill out special on german station HR (Hessen TV, outside of Germany, it can be seen via Astra Satellite) started 7th / 8th of july 2000, 0.45 a.m. Musically, flowmotion incorporates excerpts from the worlds of Downbeat, Ambient, Electronica, Listening and Chill Out. Together with the visuals ranging from artist videos to all kinds of experimental material this concept sets new standards in sound and vision.
Michael Kohlbecker is probably best known for 'Eternal Basement,' a nu energy project that also involves Pascal Mollin, but he has also worked on many other projects, like Tronic and Paragon, with styles ranging from full on mystical nu energy to experimental acid techno to beautiful ambient.
"The Saafi Brothers was originally intended as a remix project, before we decided to make an album. The Saafi brothers are many people, a kind of brotherhood, a pool of people. Beneath our three (Alex, Michael, Gabriel) there are many working on this project who don't want to read their names printed everywhere."

besten Therapeuten, wieder clean zu werden. Kein anderes Duo innerhalb
der elektronischen Musikszene konnte sich so erfolgreich gegen jedwede
Einordnung in Kopfschubladen wehren, wie Michael Kohlbecker und
Gabriel Le Mar aus Frankfurt am Meer.
Der typische Saafi-Brothers-Hörer besitzt denn auch drei Beine, sechs
Arme und neun Ohren, um das musikalische Hologramm auf dem Weg zur
Besinnlichkeit besser genießen zu können. "Liquid Beach", der dritte
Longplayer der Saafi Brothers, nach dem Debüt "Mystic Cigarettes" und
dem geheimnisvollen Nachfolger "Midnight Children", kidnappt den
Zuhörer, führt ihn in eine weitflächige elektronische Landschaft und
verlangt als Lösegeld nichts weiter als ein Loslassen an liebgewonnene

Kohlbecker und Le Mar, die bereits die legendäre Space Night im

die Fantastischen Vier, Anne Clark oder Bob Marley remixten.
Gabriel Le Mar, der einst Aural Float mitgründete, veröffentlicht
seine Solo-Alben auf SpiritZone Rec. und produzierte u.a. Supercruizer
oder Dub_Connected.
Aber auch Kohlbeckers musikalisches Spektrum beschränkt sich nicht auf
die Saafi Brothers. In seinen Projekten wie Eternal Basement,
Sofachillaz oder Montauk P beweist der Frankfurter seine musikalische
Flexibilität.
Nur vor diesem Hintergrund lässt sich der Sound der Saafi Brothers als
Verschmelzung der Klangwelten zweier erfolgreicher Produzenten
verstehen.
"Liquid Beach" ist mehr als nur feuchter Strandsand, es ist das
Saafi-Universum, das sich im jeden Sandkorn widerspiegelt und in viele
Richtungen reflektiert. Und während natürlich vordergründig
elektronische Klänge bei den Saafi Brothers zu hören sind, werden
diese gekonnt mit den Tönen handgespielter Gitarren und Percussions

With "hear and now" Gabriel presents his third solo album. Following
the path of it`s well acclaimed predecessors Gab`s Lab and Gab`s Gift,
the new longplayer delivers a fine blend of musical influences from
techno and trance to ambient and world music. Digital studio
production and innovative programming trickeries meet acoustic guitar,
melodica and violins.
The dancefloor compatible first section of the album includes stomping
4/4 tracks like Experience The Lightness, Sunrise To Sunset or In Some
Other's Life, the more listening orientated second part is made up of
chilly tunes like Travelogue or Into Deep.
Supporting Gabriel Le Mar on his musical trip is an international line
up of guests: german singer George DIN is featured on Right From The
Heart, iranian musician Mahyar plays didgeridoo on Machine Karma and

"Electronic Music" is the second album of Dub_Connected, a
project propelled by Gabriel Le Mar, who is well known through his
solo works and as a member of acts like The Saafi Bros., Aural Float
or Banned-X. Following his unique vision of musical crossroads, the
Dub Connected concept includes guest appearances by other artists and
melts techno, trance and house influences with the mix techniques of
dub. Taking the sound of it's predecessor one step further, the new
Dub Connected longplayer is released on the german label Liquid Audio
Soundz / NovaTekk and features guest producers like Tobynation
(Tokyo), 10 Cars (Berlin) and Nikos M. (Saloniki).
The result ia a stunning 130 to 140 bpm collection of techno, trance
and house sounds, mixed in dub style. From techno influenced club
smashes like the opening "The Soul Takes A Flight" (with Tobynation)
and the percussive "Tribal Sunset" to dub hybrids like "Give & Get"
(with MC Markie J.) and the electro influenced "Something Happened
Here Last Night", he album delivers a fine blend of different styles.

Supercruizer is a project by Gabriel Le Mar and Toby Izui.
The men behind Supercruizer are the musical world travellers Toby Izui (Tokyo/Japan) and Gabriel Le Mar (Frankfurt/Germany), who have already attracted numerous friends of electronic music with their many projects. "Skydiverz" marks their first album collaboration and is released by the german label Superstition Records. Delivered here are trancy soundscapes and intelligent grooves, providing a real city soundtrack combining influences from east to west. Besides floorfillers like "Supercruiser", "Glyding", "Parashooting" or "Phoenix Rising", the versatile longplayer presents vocal tracks ("Rub-A-Dub Space Ride" with Markie J.) and a breakbeat excursion like "Trajectory". The base of the typical Supercruizer sound is formed by the innovative ideas and considerable mixing skills of Toby and Gabriel, which make the album stand as a whole.

and Nature experience in the AR006135 project based on an idea by
Guenter Scholten for the B-Box packaging. In the meantime "B-Box" is
well known as a creative packaging for advanced music (Recycle Or Die
, EYE Q, Basic Channel). Album is the result of the unique project
work of "DJ Goodgroove" (Disko B, Harthouse, Eye Q) and "Eternal
Basement". Originally developed for LOGIC Records in Frankfurt -
company structure problems lead into a one shoot only release of
Machines as a single - Echo Beach will now take part of this full
blasting wired modern dance fusion. Watch out for the "Cover of the
year" in the developed B-Box version ("first class" snapper to make
shure that there won`t be any problem in the future to open and close
the box).

The Universal Product Code (UPC aka EAN.UCC-12) is the original
12-digit barcode widely used in USA and Canada for items in stores
since 1974. The International Article Number (EAN-13) was developed as
a superset of UPC with an additional 13th digit for international use
(UPC has the prefix 0 in the EAN system).
UPC consists of an item group digit, a 5-digit manufacturer code, a
5-digit product reference number assigned by the manufacturer and a
check digit. EAN is build up using 2-3 digits for country prefix, 4-5
digits manufacturer code, 5-digit product reference number and a check
digit.
For a list of EAN country codes see Wikipedia,
but note that they're not valid for 12-digit UPC codes.
